Alex Cochrane Architects redesigned the 25,000 sq ft Womenswear floor at Brown Thomas, Dublin, creating a refined, open retail layout with improved visibility and intuitive navigation. The space is divided into intersecting zones, each with a distinct character, defined by a rich material palette and custom, movable display fixtures made by top Irish fabricators. Extensive structural changes enabled new passageways, while all services were fully upgraded. ACA also designed luxurious Personal Shopping suites with fabric-lined walls and elegant furnishings. A bright, welcoming café operated by a leading Dublin chef offers a stylish meeting point. The thoughtful, high-quality design reflects Brown Thomas’ status as Ireland’s premier department store and elevates the shopping experience through comfort, clarity, and craftsmanship.
