Rothy’s  London

ACA were approached by Rothy’s to design their London flagship store on Pavilion Road, Chelsea, part of the Cadogan Estate and near Sloane Square. The shop is divided into a front retail area and a rear BOH space with POS and mobile shelving, while downstairs houses stock, a kitchenette, and WCs. Inspired by the curvature of Rothy’s shoes, the design features fluid, cantilevered shelves that wrap the perimeter. These are underlit to appear floating, with full-height mirrors between them for an uninterrupted view. Magnetised walls above enable flexible display options. Ply-on-edge adds tactile warmth, reflecting Rothy’s global palette. A central unit with seating displays accessories, while terrazzo flooring and a recessed carpet inset with brass trim define the space. A stretch membrane light mirrors the inset’s shape above.
