Selfridges Eyewear London

Alex Cochrane Architects designed the world’s largest eyewear department at Selfridges, spanning over 4,000 sq ft within the newly refurbished Accessories Hall. With over 2,200 styles on display, the space combines terrazzo, brass, rosewood, and vibrant feature walls to create a bold, playful atmosphere. The Absolute Area showcases rare, premium eyewear in a luxurious setting defined by brass, rosewood, and acrylic display elements. A central Judd-inspired installation and interactive iPad stations offer innovative customer engagement. Treatment and consultation rooms are softly furnished for privacy and comfort. Integrated technology, including mirrored LCD panels, enhances the experience. This striking, detail-rich design reflects Selfridges’ commitment to innovation, positioning the eyewear department as a standout retail destination within its iconic Oxford Street store.
